FORMER Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor and the deposed Emir of Kano, Malam Lamido Sanusi wept profusely while delivering speech in tribute to the late Group Managing Director of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe.

Sanusi could not hold back his tears when he narrated how Wigwe assisted him in time of his utmost needs when he was deposed as the Emir of Kano.

It was Wigwe who took him out of Kano with a chartered plane to where he accommodated him and his family in Lagos.

It took some minutes before Sanusi could control his emotions in reading the speech
