Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr known by his stage name Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana has described as stupidity when people compare him to Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur Michael Owusu Addo known professionally as Sarkodie and Afropop, dancehall and reggae musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name as Stonebwoy in the music industry.

According to him, he became a star before Sarkodie and Stonebwoy so comparing him to them is like comparing JHS 3 student to class 4 pupil.

Speaking on TikTok live season monitored by elvisanokyenews.net, Shatta Wale stated that people can talk about any artist’s achievements but nobody should compare anyone to him.

“Don’t compare me to anybody and the people you are even comparing me with is like I am in JHS3 and you are comparing us with class 4 pupils, and is stupid. If you see me talking somebody will say why Shatta is talking like this? Why am I talking like this? Why do you even compare Stonebwoy to me? Why do you have to compare Sarkodie to me?” He quizzed.

The self-acclaimed dancehall king indicated that when he came out in 2004, Sarkodie reached out to him via phone call and asked him for a producer and for that matter Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini can never be compared to him in the music industry.

“I came out 2004 when Sarkodie had to called me and told me that he wants a producer, I was a star before Sarkodie so if now I am making money and I am making moves and see that no, business wise, there are certain things these boys are not doing and I am telling them then you take it personal and thinks music is your work. They are lying to you, I am telling you the fact. I came out before all your last champions, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy are the last champions. You people compare me to Samini and so forth and so on” Shatta Wale stated.

Shatta Wale added that a lot of people are making wrong comments on issues because they were not well-informed.

According to him, opinion doesn’t make any difference so people must be well-informed about something before they go out and make comments.

“Somebody will say my opinion, let me make you know one thing here, it is not about your opinion how well are you informed about that opinion? You are stupid, you don’t think, when somebody is talking sense you don’t see it because you are blind, you are dead but you are walking. You don’t see it because we use it anyhow” He added.
