Former Italian champions Napoli remain silent on the future of Nigeria international striker victor Osimhen despite announcing the departure of six first-team players.

Yesterday, Napoli  officially confirmed that six players will be leaving the club upon the expiry of their contracts, including Piotr Zielinski, Leander Dendoncker, Pierluigi Gollini, Hubert Idasiak, Diego Demme and Hamed Traore.

“We would like to thank each and every one of them for their professionalism and commitment to the Napoli cause during their time in Naples. We wish them all the best for their future endeavours,” the club wrote in a brief statement on the club website.
