American singer and actress, Selena Gomez, has opened up about her private life.

In an interview, she revealed that her ongoing health issues make it dangerous for her to carry her own children should she plan to have them.

Gomez, who was diagnosed with lupus in 2013 and got a kidney transplant in 2017, noted that she had not “ever said this” before publicly.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease, which means one’s immune system attacks the body and causes several complications, including organ damage.
