460 Somali airport workers protest against Turkish bosses over brutal working conditions
They claim widespread abuse, unpaid wages, racial discrimination and inhumane treatment at the hand of the Turkish Company Favori who’s managing the facility.
The Somali workers claim that they receive a significant lower pay than their Kenyan colleagues ๐ฐ๐ช. Some Somali workers reported earning less than 1 US Dollar for an entire 9 hour shift and if they complaint they would face employment termination.
