SANWO-OLU GIFTS N40 MILLION TO TWO LASU BEST GRADUATING STUDENTS

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rewarded the two best graduating students of Lagos State University (LASU) with a total cash gift of N40 million in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

The governor announced a donation of N20 million each to Ayilara Olaleye and Adebanjo Oluolamide, who emerged as the university’s best graduating students.

The announcement was disclosed in a post on X by Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sanwo-Olu on New Media.

The financial reward is aimed at recognising the students’ hard work, dedication and exceptional academic performance during their time at LASU.

Governor Sanwo-Olu’s gesture highlights the Lagos State Government’s continued emphasis on academic excellence and the encouragement of young people to pursue educational goals.

The awardees are expected to use the financial support to further their education, develop their careers and pursue other opportunities that can contribute to their personal growth and society at large.
