It was gathered  that the Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has passed away at the age of 78.The family described Ogbeh as a man of integrity and service, noting that he “departed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to the nation and community.”

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course, while the family requested privacy as they mourn their patriarch.

Ogbeh served as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development from 2015 to 2019 and was a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Over the decades, he played a key role in shaping national policy on agriculture, food security, and rural development.
