Burkina Faso and Morocco have strengthened their economic and institutional ties by signing 12 major development agreements. These agreements focus on expanding cooperation in key sectors such as:

– Trade*: Enhancing economic ties and increasing bilateral trade, which reached $67.1 million in 2024
– Youth Training*: Providing vocational training and education to empower youth
– Agriculture*: Promoting agricultural development and food security
– Security*: Strengthening security cooperation and expertise exchange
The agreements aim to promote South-South cooperation and create a model for Africa-to-Africa partnerships. Both countries have expressed commitment to deepening their strategic partnership and exploring new areas of cooperation.
