Following the statutory retirement of some members of the management team of Nigeria Customs Service, the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, has approved key management appointments in acting capacity.
Adeniyi added that the redeployment would enhance strategic service delivery.
This was contained in a statement on Friday by the National Public Relations Officer of the service, Abdullahi Maiwada.
Giving a breakdown of the appointment, Adeniyi stated that BM Jibo has been appointed as the Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of finance administration and technical services.
OA Alajogun, acting DCG enforcement, inspection and investigation; IG Umar, acting ACG headquarters; OA Salefu, acting Assistant Comptroller-General, training and doctrine command; BA Makinde, acting ACG, human resource development; Timi Bomodi, acting ACG enforcement, inspection and investigation,” Adeniyi explained.
The CGC added that the appointments were a testament to the officers’ exemplary services and dedication to the NCS.
