A brilliant Nigerian lady named Reni Fasawe has achieved remarkable academic success by returning to university to study Medicine after first earning a degree in Biochemistry.
She earned the medical degree with excellent grades, receiving the award of the second-best graduating student from the College of Medicine at Bowen University, Nigeria.
Reni’s academic journey began in 2013 when she enrolled at Bowen University and earned her first degree in Biochemistry in 2017.
After completing her undergraduate program, she proceeded to fulfill her one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment as required in Nigeria. Despite already holding a degree, Reni remained committed to her dream of becoming a medical doctor.
Motivated by passion, she made the bold decision to return to school to study Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) enrolling in Bowen University in 2019.
After 6 years of committed studies, Reni graduated with outstanding results, earning distinctions in key medical courses. Her academic brilliance also earned her multiple awards and recognition within her college.
After 12 years of intense studies, Reni fulfilled her dream. She didn’t just graduate; she emerged as one of the top students in her class—a true testament to perseverance and purpose.
In another story, a brilliant man named Obuekwe Chukwuemeka Azubuike has returned to school to bag a Medicine degree after he had earlier earned a Biochemistry degree from Covenant University, Nigeria.
He also won 15 awards as the best graduating student of his faculty.
Azubuike obtained a first degree in Biochemistry at Covenant University, Ogun Nigeria before moving on to study medicine at the Obafemi Awolowo University. He bagged her medicine degree with distinctions.
