Ladan Bosso has been appointed as the interim head coach of Nigeria’s Super Falcons ahead of the upcoming Olympic qualifiers.

Bosso will take charge of the team temporarily and remain in the position until the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) appoints a permanent head coach.

The decision comes as the Super Falcons prepare for the crucial Olympic qualification campaign, with officials keen to strengthen the team’s technical setup and improve its recent performances.

Speaking on the decision, officials explained that the approaching Olympic qualifiers made it necessary to improve the technical structure of the team, similar to the approach recently taken with the U-23 team under coach Eric Chelle.

“The Olympics are approaching, and we will look at improving the Super Falcons’ technical team, just as we did with the U-23 team under coach Eric Chelle. Our goal is to qualify for the Olympics.”
