The Lagos State Government has continued its clearance operation along the Badagry Expressway, extending enforcement from LASU Gate to Okokomaiko to restore order and improve the road corridor.
As part of the exercise, illegal structures and encroachments were demolished, while enforcement teams, working alongside the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), removed vehicles that had been illegally parked on the road median.
Authorities also carried out debris evacuation across the affected areas to ensure the corridor remains clean and accessible.
The government said the ongoing operation is part of a broader effort to reclaim public spaces, ease traffic congestion, enhance road safety, and provide a cleaner environment for motorists and pedestrians.
