Africa’s wealthiest man, Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, has expressed surprise upon discovering that Mr Eazi, now his friend Femi Otedola’s son-in-law, operates eighteen businesses across Africa.
He revealed this during his speech at the wedding ceremony of Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi.In a video that has since gone viral, Dangote commended Mr Eazi’s entrepreneurial drive and ambition.
Speaking during the event, Dangote predicted a prosperous future for the couple, suggesting they may one day become the wealthiest individuals on the planet.
“I never knew that you have businesses in 18 countries in Africa. I must really congratulate you for being a great guy.”
“Knowing that the two of you are always very charming, very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth,” he added.He also spoke warmly about Femi Otedola, the chairman of Geregu Power and First Bank, stating: “Femi is not only my friend, he is my brother. Where you see me, you see Femi. If there is any brother that I have that is not of the same mother and father, that brother is Femi.”Following her marriage to Mr Eazi in Iceland, Temi Otedola has officially changed her surname, taking on her husband’s name, Ajibade.
