Team Ghana has wrapped up its campaign at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, with a total of two medals after ten days of competition.

The Ghanaian contingent competed across several sports, including athletics, boxing, cycling, swimming, judo, weightlifting, and para-sports.

Despite high expectations, the team finished the Games with two podium finishes, reflecting both the challenges and determination of Ghana’s athletes on the international stage.

Officials praised the athletes for their commitment and resilience throughout the competition, while acknowledging that there is room for improvement ahead of future international events.

The experience gained in Glasgow is expected to help Ghana prepare for upcoming continental championships, the Olympic Games, and the next Commonwealth Games.

The 2026 Commonwealth Games concluded with a colorful closing ceremony, officially bringing the event to an end and passing the baton to Ahmedabad, India, which will host the 2030 edition.
