Tinubu Arrives Lagos Ahead of 65th Independence Anniversary

President Bola Tinubu arrived Lagos State on a working visit as the country prepares for a low-key 65th Independence Anniversary.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President moved to Lagos after attending the coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

 

While in Lagos, Tinubu is expected to meet with key players in the private sector as well as senior government officials.On Tuesday, September 30, the President will travel to Imo State to commission projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

 

As part of the Independence Day activities, Tinubu will also commission the remodelled National Theatre in Lagos, now renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
