President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, on his 85th birthday, describing him as a remarkable servant of God whose life and ministry have impacted millions across Nigeria and beyond.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President rejoiced with the renowned cleric as he marked the milestone anniversary on June 6, 2026.
President Tinubu commended Pastor Kumuyi’s enduring legacy of unwavering faith, wisdom and dedication, noting that he has spent more than five decades building a thriving ministry and providing spiritual guidance to countless believers.
The President also acknowledged the influence of Pastor Kumuyi’s evangelistic outreach through the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), saying his message of hope and encouragement has transcended church walls and national boundaries.
“As the convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), your voice has reached beyond the church walls and national borders, bringing hope and encouragement to millions across the world,” the President said.
He further praised the cleric’s literary contributions, noting that his writings have continued to provide inspiration and guidance to people seeking truth and purpose in their lives. The President observed that Pastor Kumuyi’s ministry and personal influence have transformed lives, restored families, inspired leaders and strengthened the faith of generations of Christians.
According to him, the cleric’s impact extends far beyond the pulpit, reflecting a lifelong commitment to spiritual growth, moral values and service to humanity.
President Tinubu prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the octogenarian, wishing him strength, sound health and peace in the years ahead.
