Fresh controversy has emerged within the Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following reports that Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu, threatened to stage a protest over the conduct of the party’s primaries in the state.
The development reportedly followed dissatisfaction in some quarters over the outcome and handling of the APC primary process, which has continued to generate reactions among party stakeholders and loyalists.
Sources within the party claimed tensions rose after complaints surrounding candidate selection and alleged irregularities during the exercise.
