DRC President Félix Tshisekedi to meet South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa in ongoing attempts to broker peace in the eastern DRC.
Democratic Republic of Congo President Félix Tshisekedi is in South Africa to meet with President Cyril Ramaphosa, days after he shunned a peace conference attended by representatives from the rebel group M23 and DRC opposition groups.Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, briefly confirmed the visit, saying they would be “talking everything, peace, bilateral trade, etc.”
