Popular Ghanaian YouTuber, Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, known as Wode Maya, has finally taken to social media to share some powerful lessons that have kept him going in the industry.
In a post on social media — X, to be precise — which has gained the attention of many, Wode Maya advised young people trying to make it in life to always put God first, because with God’s direction, your progress is assured.
He added that in this journey, it is always good to keep in mind that no one cares, hence you need to always keep pushing because no one will come to your rescue in times of need.
Wode Maya emphasized the importance of keeping your plans to yourself, stating that not everything needs to be public.
He further added that not everyone who calls you a friend is actually a friend, so caution is key. Keeping your circle small was his fifth piece of advice, to avoid distractions and betrayals.
Finally, Wode Maya encouraged his followers to network with the right people, because the connections you have can rescue you sometimes.
“Sometimes you need to keep your secrets, not everything should come to public domain and stop relying on friends. Not everyone who calls you his friend is a true friend.”
“And one important thing is to make contact with the right person, building a good networking with the right people creates more opportunities.”
