Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has been confirmed as one of the participants for the 2025 Diamond League season opener.
The eagerly awaited event is set to take place in Xiamen, China, on Saturday, April 26.
This will mark the third edition of the Chinese leg of the prestigious athletics series.
Athletes will compete across nine track events and seven field events in the main programme.
Amusan, who holds the world record in the women’s 100m hurdles with a personal best of 12.12 seconds, currently ranks 13th globally.
She will face tough competition, including world indoor record holder Devynne Charlton and world champion Danielle Williams from Jamaica.
