    BREAKING: Achraf Hakimi crowned CAF Men’s Player of the Year 2025

    The Morocco international beat Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and Galatasaray’s Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to the honour.

    Hakimi enjoyed an outstanding year, helping PSG win Ligue 1 and claim their first-ever Champions League title.

     

    The 27-year-old is the first Moroccan to win the award since 1998, when Mustapha Hadji claimed the honour.
