Burkina Faso’s Captain Ibrahim Traoré Expands Social and Economic Reforms 🇧🇫

Just weeks after Captain Ibrahim Traoré implemented sweeping reforms in Burkina Faso including cutting government officials’ salaries, making university education free with monthly student allowances, supplying over 5,000 pieces of agricultural equipment, and transforming the nation into one of Africa’s few tax-free economies the 37-year-old leader has announced another major move.

Traoré has increased the national budget allocation for the underprivileged by 30%, continuing his push to uplift vulnerable citizens.

Earlier, his administration also opened a local cement factory, immediately reducing prices by 50%, and declared free childbirth services for all Burkinabè citizens.

In a recent statement, Captain Traoré reaffirmed his commitment to improving living standards, saying that “Burkina Faso has enough resources for every citizen to live an affordable and dignified life.”
