Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy has reportedly completed a major community development project in Rivers State, providing a clinic, library and school for people in his community.
According to details shared by the project supervisor, the development includes several facilities designed to improve access to education, healthcare and other essential services for residents.
The perimeter fence alone reportedly required 18,000 blocks, highlighting the scale of the project. The facility is also equipped with 17 solar-powered streetlights, providing lighting around the premises while making use of renewable energy.
The clinic is said to contain more than 10 rooms, providing space for various medical services and supporting healthcare delivery within the community.
The school and library are expected to provide additional opportunities for children and young people, particularly by improving access to learning resources and educational facilities.
The project has drawn attention not only because of Burna Boy’s involvement but also because of its focus on giving back to the community where he comes from.
The development represents a significant investment in local infrastructure and could provide lasting benefits to residents through improved healthcare, education and community facilities.
