Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of petrol to ₦899.50 per litre, further easing fuel costs for consumers during the holiday season.
This announcement was made on Thursday in a statement issued by the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.
According to the statement, “Africa’s first privately-owned oil refinery, which previously lowered the price to ₦970 per litre on November 24, has now announced a new price of ₦899.50 per litre.”
Beyond the price reduction, the company introduced an additional benefit, allowing motorists to purchase extra litres of petrol on credit through designated banks.
Chiejina stated, “In addition to the holiday discount, Dangote Petroleum Refinery is allowing consumers to purchase an additional litre of fuel on credit for every litre bought on a cash basis.”
The refinery also reiterated its commitment to supplying top-quality petroleum products, distancing itself from the substandard products often found in the market.
“To alleviate transport costs during this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a holiday discount on PMS. From today, our petrol will be available at ₦899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM,” Chiejina added.
This initiative positions Dangote Refinery as a key player in providing affordable and reliable energy solutions, particularly during the festive period.
