Kenya’s Edwin Kipyogo and Ethiopia’s Zennebe Aberu emerged winners and received the prize of $15,000.Athletes from Kenya and Ethiopia dominated the 2026 Enugu City International Marathon on Saturday, clinching the top prizes in the 42-kilometre men’s and women’s categories.
The marathon attracted athletes from different parts of Nigeria and other African countries, with the 10-kilometre and 42-kilometre races commencing from the Mgbemena area of Enugu and ending at the popular Michael Okpara Square in Independence Layout.
