Popular activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has charged Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State to hand over his predecessor, Yahaya Bello to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for trial.

Adeyanju made the call while describing Ododo as an impunity-loving governor.

Posting on Facebook, Adeyanju wrote: “Ododo, the impunity-loving governor of Kogi State should hand over Yahaya Bello to the EFCC to face trial for all his corrupt acts.

Bello has been on the run since EFCC initiated a fraud case with N80.2 billion while he was still governor of Kogi State.

He went into hiding after operatives of the anti-graft agency attempted to arrest him from his residence in Abuja.

During the raid by EFCC, Ododo had stormed Bello’s residence and whisked him out of the house.
