Former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has rejected an offer to take charge of Turkish Super Lig club, Kayserispor.
The former Super Eagles’ coach has been a free agent since leaving his role with the Nigeria National team in February 2024.
Peseiro, according to Portuguese news outlet, A Bola, rejected the offer after holding talks with Kayserispor officials.
Though circumstances surrounding the rejection was still unknown as at the time of filing this report, however his decision may be connected with the club’s current status.
The club is also going through financial crisis and is on a run of five games without a win (four defeats and one draw).
Kayserispor currently occupy 17th position on the table with 16 points.
They have also been banned from registering new players in the next three transfer windows.
